So this week will see a whole host of Radio 1 DJs and amazing new artists descending on Hull for the weekend finale to the new music month that’s been running throughout January on Radio 1 and 1xtra.

There are loads of free events, shows and DJ sets going on across the city (for full info: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/events/hull/ ) – and on Friday night it’s Pete Tong’s turn at City Hall, with an appearance from Madeon.

We discovered this guy this week after hearing Chris Moyles raving about him on his breakfast show and man does he know how to push some buttons!
