Seen as though it is National Handwriting Day in America, we’ve found BIC’s most recent advertising.

We all know what BIC do, we all know what pen’s are so I can imagine it can be quite difficult to make them come across as interesting!

I think these are effective in doing just so, they are really simple but I think that’s good for what they’re advertising. I like that they’ve used hand written typefaces to personalise the brand, and it’s something that everyone can relate to - it makes you think about your own handwriting and your own scribbles and doodles and what that says about your personality.

BIC first started in 1945 when Marcel Bich and his partner Edouard Buffard manufactured a fountain pen and mechanical pencil parts in their home in France. Their first entry into the UK was in 1957 with the Biro Swan and entered into the US market a year later.
